Our History
Hilosoft was created in 1981 in Santa Ana,
CA as a division of Convergence Corporation, a leader of video editing and
special effects for the Television and Motion Picture Industry. Hilosoft, then known as Axon Communications,
pioneered computer controlled telephone messaging products for the Telephone
Answering Industry. In 1986 Convergence and the holding company, Acquis, was
acquired by EECO Incorporated leaving Axon (Hilosoft) on its own. Axon
continued to flourish in the industry, then in early 2003 the messaging product lines and
other assets were sold to Telescan Corporation of St. Louis, Mo. Hilosoft is now
committed to the development and sales of software tools for idea development
and for predictive cash analysis for individuals and small
business.

Hilosoft provides software specifically designed to assist in the composition
of Ideas and to provide financial analysis for product and services pricing. The name of the programs are
Idea Composer®,
HOPP
(Hands on Profit Planner) and
Maestro.
The Maestro is currently in
development and
scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2009..
Our Products
Idea Composer®
is a software program for inventors or anyone with product or service ideas that
want an easy way to capture the idea, get it reduced to written form,
and to determine the feasibility using predictive cash analysis tools.
Basic precautions are built into the program to safeguard any potential intellectual property. The
Idea Composer®
is easy to use and requires
no previous experience in finance or business. The
Idea Composer®
teaches
the user in a step by step fashion about business finance, intellectual
property, and the communication of ideas to others. The software
program is great for the person contemplating a business start-up based
on
a product concept.
The HOPP (Hands on Profit Planner) is a software program
specifically designed for professionals in the health care industry,
although, the program works for any contract or service personnel that charge a session or hourly rate for
their services. HOPP recognizes that most
health care professionals are either self-employed with their
own private practice, or at the very least, able to exercise a good deal of
control in establishing the price of their own session work. HOPP
systematically leads the professional through the murky waters of financial
guessing and wishing and provides crystal clear and undeniable analysis
of where their session pricing should be based on simple proven
methodology. HOPP is a good first step program for anyone
contemplating a start-up service business.
The
Maestro
program allows management of existing companies to organize and
evaluate ideas for new products or services and to allow participation
from within the company. Care for the proper use of Intellectual
Property is built into the program. The very people who know the most
about the technology and markets can now participate in the forward
movement of the company through better communication of product and
service ideas. Management is able to quantify the value of each idea and
to provide incentives to the contributors. Protection for the
intellectual property is built into the system.
